What is the average temperature for San Diego?

San Diego offers the country’s most temperate year-round climate:

Do you offer a shuttle?

We do not offer a shuttle at the resort. We recommend using a ride share app or a cab/taxi. We are more than happy to help you set up transportation, just ask our front desk team.

Are there TV’s in rooms? Do they have a DVD player?

All of our guest rooms have 42” flat screen TVs. They are smart TV’s which allow you to login to Netflix. We do not provide DVD players.

Is there a coffee maker in the room? How do I use the cofffee maker?

In all of our guest rooms, we have Tayst espresso machines, similar to a Nespresso machine. To use the machine in the room, follow these steps:

  1. Fill the tank with water. Please note: you will hear the tank click when connected.
  2. Switch your Tayst machine on. Power button is on the bottom left hand side of the machine.
  3. Lift up the lever to be at a 90 degree angle from the machine.
  4. Insert an espresso capsule ensuring it fits correctly into the compartment. Capsule to be inserted on its side into the machine.
  5. Close the handle firmly to load the capsule. You will see a flashing blue light with different size coffee cups, that means the water is warming. When the light stops flashing, that means it is ready to use.
  6. Press the desired espresso button, only once to choose the right amount of espresso
    • Short Black/Ristretto 25ml
    • Small Espresso 40 ml
    • Long Shot/Lungo 110ml
  7. Dispensing will stop automatically when reaching the selected setting.

Do you offer laundry or dry cleaning?

We have partnered with a 3rd party company, LNDRY. To use LNDRY, please fill out the sheet that is hanging up on the robes in the closet. LNDRY offers three options: same-day service (which must be sent by 8AM), overnight, or standard (2-3 business days). LNDRY is closed on Sundays. LNDRY is closed on Sundays.

What is included in the resort amenities fee?

San Diego Mission Bay Resort has a mandatory resort amenities fee of $39.00 charge per night plus tax which includes:

  • Internet access
  • Nightly live music
  • Fitness center access (including lockers)
  • Activities including pool & tennis and pickleball court access
  • Beach chairs & umbrellas
  • Local/toll-free calls
  • Resort games around property including volleyball, basketball, giant chess, and more
  • Daily yoga
  • Complimentary access to men and women’s Sauna’s
  • Seasonal weekly s’mores nights and movie nights
  • 10% discount on single item at Mercado
  • Complimentary Add-On with purchase of 50 minute service at Spa Brezza

What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my stay?

All major credit cards are accepted to pay for you room and to guarantee your stay. San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a cashless property.

Do you charge for parking?

Self parking is available for $43.00 per night.

Do you have rollaway beds?

Yes, rollaway beds are available for $35/night + tax. We have a limited number of rollaway beds. Please request one upon booking your reservation if needed. Due to fire codes not all rooms are able to accommodate rollaway, please check with your reservation agent when booking.

Do rooms have a refrigerator?

Each resort guest room has a beverage cooler for your convenience.

What is the smoking policy?

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a smoke free property. All of our resort guestrooms are non-smoking and there is no smoking policy on guestroom balconies or patios. In addition, smoking is prohibited on the pool deck and restaurant patios. This policy also applies to electronic smoking devices.

Do you have a fitness center? What are the hours?

We do have a fitness center that is located adjacent to Spa Brezza and our tennis and pickleball courts. It is open 24 hours a day. The locker rooms are available from 6:30am – 7:30pm.

Do you have a spa? What are the hours?

Yes, Spa Brezza is open Monday – Tuesday: 10:00am – 3:00pm and Wednesday – Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Do you offer room service? What are the hours?

Yes, we do have Diego Delivers which is our on-property food delivery that is available for your meal needs from Sunday – Thursday: 7:00am – 9:00pm and Friday – Saturday: 7:00am – 10:00pm. You can order here.

Reservations

What is the cancellation and deposit policy?

Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival date by 4:00 PM local time to avoid a one night’s room and tax charge. Additional restrictions may apply depending on the rate, stay dates, and room type booked; please see your confirmation letter for additional details. For reservations made via third parties or travel professionals, please contact your booking provider for information on their policies.

What if I need to depart early from my stay?

An early departure fee of room & tax may apply. Please contact the hotel for further details.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am

What is the minimum age requirement to check-in to a room?

The minimum age requirement is 18.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes, we have accessible rooms. Some of these rooms include roll-in showers or bathtubs. Lowered towel bars, grab bars surround all commodes. Roll-in showers have hand-held shower sprayers with extensions and shower benches. As well as lowered peepholes, lowered wall-mounted thermostats, lowered closet rods, flashing fire alarms for the hearing impaired.

Do you have connecting rooms?

While we do have connecting rooms, we cannot guarantee

Pets

Is the resort pet-friendly?

Yes, we love to meet your furry friends. San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a pet-friendly resort in San Diego. For more information on our pet policy, take a look here.

Is there a pet fee?

Yes. There is a non-refundable fee of $100 for up to 3 nights or $150 for 4-7 nights will be charged upon check-in for post-departure room cleaning. All guests staying at the resort with dogs will be required to complete a pet policy agreement. Please keep in mind: pets are not allowed to be left unattended in guest rooms.
